Los Lunas High School Addition

,

This design calls for partial demolition of the existing classroom wings and construction of a new single two-story building that will house four different learning communities, each focused on a particular career/educational theme. A center courtyard will allow students to congregate outside while still maintaining a secure, well-supervised campus. Phase I construction began in Summer 2012. Phase II construction is scheduled to begin in May 2013. When completed, approximately 160,000 square feet will have been demolished, 27,000 square feet of portables will be removed, and approximately 195,000 square feet of new construction will be completed.
