Miller Bonded Inc. Launches New “Energy Audit Service” Line to Help Commercial Building Owners & Managers Lower Operating Costs!
Albuquerque, NM (1/1/2010) — Miller Bonded is pleased to announce the launch of its new line of “Energy Audit Service” programs aimed at helping building owners and managers lower operating costs, particularly in the area of energy. With its recent acquisition of Energy Auditing Satellite technology to provide detailed energy assessments of buildings as well as estimated financial impact of proposed improvements, Miller Bonded is uniquely positioned to help building owners and managers understand and realize the best opportunities for energy cost savings.
“We believe that ‘Green’ is a strategy to increase profitability and asset value by lowering both operating costs and carbon footprint. Building owners and CFOs face rising operating costs and slowing rents. Our green building program will help close that gap. We are now able to provide an even greater economic value to our service customers because of our ability to solve energy problems (i.e. HVAC, Temperature Controls, Lighting, and Water Usage) and lower overall operating costs,” says Bill Chandler, LEED AP and General Manager of Service & Special Projects with Miller Bonded.
Energy costs are the single largest controllable cost in most commercial buildings and represent a significant problem for commercial buildings. Nationally, electric rates have increased more than 20% over the past 3 years. Utilities, including electricity, now represent on average 40-60% of a building’s total operating costs.
With Miller Bonded’s “Energy Benchmark”, “Energy Assessment” or “Energy Audit” programs, the process of identifying energy savings opportunities and then taking the appropriate action to achieve those savings is now more straightforward. The “Energy Benchmark” program will evaluate the building’s utility bills and let the owner know if there are Energy Saving opportunities by comparing it to Energy Star Buildings and other similar commercial building energy usage in dollars per square foot. The “Energy Assessment” program includes the “Energy Benchmark” program and will also identify “Low Cost – No Cost” ways to save energy through your maintenance and operations (usually paying for its self in less than one year). The “Energy Audit” program will provide both the above plus a complete building energy audit. It includes the estimated energy savings and cost proposals for each energy saving recommendation including its return on investment. This program will also identify any available rebates to maximize all aspects of energy (HVAC & Lighting) and water usage in the facility to help lower operating costs.
With their new “Energy Audit Service” programs Miller Bonded can also assist in getting commercial buildings “Energy Star” rated to help owners and property managers attract new tenants and keep their existing ones along with improving the value of their assets.
Along with the launch of this new service Miller Bonded is offering free “Energy Audit Service” consultations to help acquaint the commercial market with their new products and services. Interested customers can call 505-881-0220 to schedule a no obligation “Energy Audit Service” consultation appointment to see how Miller Bonded can help save them energy and lower their operating costs.
